I’ve been meaning to blog forever about our AMAZING Disney Cruise/Honeymoon. But I’ve been wanting to do that blog justice. So I promise I’ll do that one next time and go ahead and update this time on what’s been going on in my life. I only have a short amount of time, it’s my lunch break at school, and I am to get DETERMINED every last minute of it! The school day has been hectic, the kids-MONSTERS!
So I bet your wondering about my title…if not, you are now! My dear “Roxy” aka my car has officially bit the dust. After an amazing nine years of driving, and tons of mileage, she has thrown in the towel. It’s funny how we get attached to things in our lives. I’ve grown very attached to my car. She’s been there for me on more than one occasion, she’s taken me back and forth from work, she drove me and my family to various volleyball tournaments, sporting events, trips etc. I musn’t forget all the dates, dances, and memorable events she has taken me to. And while she may have died and now I’m out of a car, she didn’t die too soon. In fact, we took our last ride yesterday the mechanic told us he wasn’t sure how long she’d last, and upon starting her up, I knew deep in my gut that it wasn’t going to be long, but my dear car was determined to get me home, just one long time, after a painful drive back home, she died right in front of my apartment, in a parking spot…what a good car! We didn’t have to push her or tow her again. At least not yet. She did a lot of good in her life. So we’re gonna donate her to a kidney foundation or something along those lines. I’d hate to just leave her in a junk yard where her parts would be sold and nothing good will come from at, so at least not her parts will be sold but the proceeds will go to a good cause. She’ll continue to give even when she’s not being driven. I know I’m sappy…but I loved my car! She will be missed!

Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy your stay.

Farewell to a precious car and hopefully another will come your way for new memories for your new family!
