I’ve realized that little by little my blog has been inching its way to becoming more of a weight loss blog. At first I thought it wouldn’t be something people would want to read etc. But then I realized that my blog is just that…MY blog, it is where I go to put down the things that I’d like to in writing. Where I can share lessons learned and my experiences. It is what it is. It’s highlights of important things in my life. Right now, other than being a mommy to the most amazing baby in the world, I am focusing on my weight loss and truly committing to getting the pounds off. I always tell my little man before I leave. “A few minutes for me everyday, will equal several years for you.” And it’s true. I want to be an example to him. I want him to see that I honor and treasure my body and that being healthy makes me happy. So…I hope for those of you that do read my blog…not sure there are many out there, but, I hope you don’t mind hearing the weight loss stuff, and I hope that you’re ok coming along with me on this journey. The support definitely is appreciated!
Anybody wondering why the random picture of the old lady?!
I’ll tell ya anyways! I went to water aerobics for the first time today with my mom. I LOVED IT! I loved that it’s a special thing that just me and my mom get to do together to bond and spend time together. I had a blast! My first experience with water aerobics was with my big sister when we went to visit! I loved it then, I love it now and I love that I don’t feel like the biggest dork in the world doing it, because all of us there look like dorks! And the benefit…you lose weight! Woot!
