Playing Catch up!

Speaking of Catch-Up, we were giving placement tests to the students at our school and for one of their questions it talked about ketchup, but it was spelt the old fashioned way “catsup”. So one of the little girl asks in a really grossed out tone she said, “what IS cat soup?!” Lol, it was so funny. And can you imagine a thing called cat soup?! Gross! So I really wanna get my blog caught up so I’m starting with a few pictures from the beginning of October and will work my way to the current…at least I hope so…
This first picture is  a picture of me and one of my amazing mission companions from Germany, Steffi Dobberke, I can’t begin to explain how much spending time with her meant to me, she is such an amazing person. She’s so funny and so full of love and light. She was here visiting from Germany and I was able to do a temple session with her and hang out a little. It was so wonderful!
I love this next picture. It’s of my sweet little family with both of my mission presidents. The Rhiens are next to my husband and the Acersons are next to me.  This picture is also one of my treasures. Of course I was closer to my mission president’s wives than I was to the president’s themselves. They were WONDERFUL mission moms. Two different women who are so full of the gospel light and love of our Savior. It is such an honor to know them!
Of course there had to be a Sorelle picture in there somewhere! A few of the amazing sisters I had the honor of serving with in the Italy Rome mission. Boy have I been blessed with amazing people in my life!

My little man was so tuckered out at the end of the reunion. Look at his super cute hair!

I’ve always wanted a sectional and out neighbors got a great deal on some new furniture so they decided to sell theirs! We were able to get it for a whopping $75! I couldn’t be more thrilled! It fits so nicely in our apartment! It has a hide a bed on one part and a recliner on the other. So cool!

Our little wild one. This wasn’t on halloween. I just love dressing him up! This was the first outfit I bought for him when I found out I was having a boy!

I just love his cute little body!

I was getting bored of plain old walking with Leslie. Don’t get me wrong. I love her workouts, but I really needed to add some more in there to mix it up and make it exciting. So I bought some more work out DVDs and decided that I could just draw a paper out of the container and do that workout. I’ll let you know how that goes when I get started!

I randomly hurt my wrist. It was more my thumb area. I have no idea what happened. But after wearing the brace for a couple of days it started to feel better. I’m still not sure what happened. But the pressure from the brace sure helped!

I decided that I had been wasting WAY too much time in the day. So I decided that I needed to go back to my old missionary ways. I totally need to start planning, so that I could take advantage of the time the Lord has given me.

Porter baby and his teeth. He’s so cute!

Travis was trying to get Porter to crawl to him and Mac was laying next to Porter. He kept saying “Come on Porter, Come on.”
So of course Mac went to him. She’s so funny!

I’ve been working really hard on emergency preparedness and food storage. Here’s some of the stuff I have for our 72 hour kits. We still have a few things to add. But if something happened and we needed them, we could totally survive. This makes me really happy and at peace.
I have some more that I need to upload and update. But I’m definitely getting there which makes me really happy! So I’ll add those in the next couple of days! I didn’t want to overload you with too many pictures anyways!
I’m loving life and I’m so grateful to be alive! As you can tell by my sidebar I’ve updated my weight loss and I’m back on track! Life is good, we are so blessed!
