It’s about time…

It’s been WAY too long since I last posted on here. I’ve just been so busy and it was so convenient to just post from my laptop on my comfy recliner while my cuteness watched his shows. Instead, my laptop is on the fritz because the screen broke and I am stuck with it being a new desktop…not so comfy to sit and blog…at all!
Life is wonderful, we are blessed! Travis has been able to find a job after being out of work for almost a year and I am working part time as a Secretary at a local Charter school. I love it. I love most of the people I work with and I’m blessed that I have been able to make so many good friends.
I unfortunately haven’t been the best at keeping touch with my other friends outside of work. It seems that our lives just take us in all sorts of crazy directions and the easiest way to keep in touch is to read eachothers blogs!
I have been a crocheting machine lately! Over conference weekend I decided that I’d rather spend my time on creativity than messing with the dramas of facebook etc. So I decided to try my hand at crocheting again and see if I could teach myself! I have successfully made three beanies! One of which I designed myself! I just took a beanie patter I liked and then designed mickey mouse ears for it! It’s the one I’m most proud of although the sock monkey one is pretty cute!
Please ignore the mess in the background. Hurricane PJ was in full swing as I was finishing his hat! He is such a cute little guy! They grow up WAY too fast…but they get to be more and more fun as their little personalities develop. I couldn’t have asked for a better little guy. I’m so grateful Heavenly Father has entrusted him to us. He’s the best!
Here’s a picture of his sock monkey hat. I made an adult sized one so he and my dad could match. They are the cutest together! His initials are PJ, but they sure work for Papa Jr!
It’s hard to get a picture of a moving baby on a camera phone. My camera is currently out of service until I can get it to the shop so I’m kind of bummed that I haven’t been able to get amazing pictures of our cute lately. It’s like taking a painters brushes…I feel naked without it. And for the record I think it’s a bunch of hooey when a photographer says it doesn’t matter what kind of camera you use. It does. Otherwise you’d see pros using the dinky point and shoot cameras all the time. They really don’t! Ok, enough of that rant!
Anyways, that’s it for me, at least for now. I’ll definitely work on posting more often. Although I’m not really sure if anybody even reads this anymore!

Soooo you wrote this forever ago. And I'm sure I read it too, but I'm reading it again now and I just want to say, I READ! So don't think its pointless, but no pressure.

Okay, you could sell those Mickey ones — I'd buy one! :) Didn't you just have a baby or something?!? You're incredible.

Okay, phew. I just saw that this was for last conference. I have no idea what month it is. I was thinking conference just got over, not that it's coming soon. I'm losing it. Having kids does this to your brain!!!
